A coach full of Rothley bowlers and guests made their way to Broadway in the beautiful Costwolds.
We were made very welcome by members of Broadway.
After exploring the very busy village and looking at vintage cars (as it was a special weekend) nineteen Rothley bowlers played in 6 rinks of triples. We were given tea and cakes after 9 ends to keep us going to 18. The play was friendly and the views over to the Broadway Tower magnificent.
Huge thank yous go to all concerned at Broadway in making the day so special and memorable!
We are so lucky in having fabulous members at our club. We all enjoyed each other's company. Oh and we won overall!
And now for the captions competition??!!??

Nicola, who lives in Mountsorrel, has been volunteering as the fundraising manager for the DMRC Benevolent Fund for the past eight years, raising about Β£200,000 a year. Many of her patients have suffered career-ending injuries and her work helps them live independently and transition into civilian life.

We are pleased to welcome Stotto as our most recent sponsor in our Centenary year.
This will now take place at KEGWORTH not Rothley. Despite all efforts it has been decided to switch the fixture to give our green time to dry out more before having a home fixture.
There has been lots of works going on to get the green surround and benches ready for the season.
Huge thanks to those involved. Incredible effort π
Due to high water table the green opening has been delayed until Wednesday 17th April.
Please be careful when practicing not to damage the green
