Management Meeting 15th October at the Club House 10.00am
AGM 6th November at Old School Rooms (note change of venue) at 10.15 am.
Seven members attended the inaugural Bowls Loughborough Presentation Day.. A friendly game of bowls was enjoyed, with the rain very unexpectedly keeping away! This was followed by a buffet and then the presentation of various trophies. Geoff Porter represented The Crusaders and claimed the trophy!
Wonderful weather was enjoyed for a very entertaining finals day on Sunday 15th September 2019. Excellent attendance, with members of the club and family and friends coming to join in. The faith lunch was bountiful and tasty. Thanks to all those that organised, provided food, set out, washed up, made drinks etc But most of all congratulations to the winners and runners up. A number of matches were won by a single point!
The team played a tense and exciting game on Monday 19th August against a very strong Kegworth side. Eventually the Crusaders won 2 rinks and drew on the other thus securing 7 out of the 8 points consolidating their place at the top of the league. Congratulations to all the squad who were brilliantly led by Captain Geoff Hall.
Trudi and Sue went to collect the cheque for £110 generously donated by Waitrose Community Matters
Please invite family and friends (but they will need woods!)

The Friday night league began well with a 4-2 win over our local rivals at Quorn.
Great news! Rothley Bowls Club is one of the three nominated local organisations this month at Mountsorrel Waitrose. The more green tokens we get, the larger the share of the £500 we are awarded! So do it for the club, go shopping at Waitrose and vote for us!!!
On a very cold May 4th, the mixed team chalked up another win. The Force was definitely with them!!
The mixed team is off to a flying start with two victories from the first two matches. Only one more is needed to beat last seasons total.
